The main house was exactly as she described and having the mother in law suit was perfect for some quiet time at the end of the night ! There were many things for the kids to do, bikes to ride, paddle boards to use in the water and the beach was just a short walk down the trail. When you get to the end of the trail you can watch the sun set on the tops of the dunes or venture you way down the dunes to the water. Downtown south haven is a short drive away with lots of cute shops and local restaurants. If we come back this way we would stay here again!

Beautiful new cabin. Quiet, clean, private, and close to the beach! We came during the off season so had the beach entirely to ourselves. Everything was clearly labeled and the house had all the supplies listed for the kitchen and for outdoor recreation. Charming stay, we hope to come back again!

A group of friends and I wanted a place to stay with plenty of beds and space. This place was perfect because the guest house made it so we all had somewhere to spread out. The property is a good size with tons of seating inside and out. The dinner table was spacious and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, dinnerware, etc that we needed. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the fire, and took the trail out to see the beach. It was a gorgeous view, quiet neighborhood, but close enough to shopping, restaurants, etc. I would definitely recommend this home and would stay again.

Beautiful cottage with plenty of space and excellent dune/lake access. The hosts have clearly put a lot of thought and care into adding amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Folding chairs, beach towels, etc.

Perfect little cabin experience. The little walk through the woods to the beach was kind of storybook-like worth black squirrels, birds, flowers, and a giant woodchuck! The beach access has a hill for those who may have physical limitations, but the beach was peaceful and private! Maybe 1 or 2 other people on the beach at the same time!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunset Dune cabin. Amanda, the owner, has thoughtfully stocked the space with just about everything you might need during your stay, which made settling in easy. The beds were very comfortable, and all of the kids were thrilled to have their own space to sleep. There were also a variety of games and puzzles that kept everyone entertained. Although we didn’t get a chance to use them, the outdoor seating area and grill were a nice bonus. We especially appreciated how close the cabin is to the beach, making it convenient to come and go throughout the day. We would absolutely stay here again and are already considering a return visit when the weather is warmer.

The Blue Shore Cottage was a charming place for our girls weekend. Access to Lake Michigan was perfect for our rock collecting and sunset watching fun! Amanda was such an attentive host! The main house can accomodate your family, and the guest cottage is dreamy for couples!

This was our third stay at Blue Shore Cottage and as with our previous two stays, everything was fantastic! Instructions were very straight forward and easy to understand. Setting was perfect for our stay, our family needed a peaceful surroundings for quiet, relaxing weekend. Walk to the big lake was very doable and well worth the short walk. Breathtaking is an understatement. Lake Michigan never disappoints, regardless of the season. The cottage itself was very comfortable and felt at home. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

The Sunset Dune cabin was perfect for our family trip. What stood out the most was the condition of the cabin and all the amenities- it was incredibly clean and organized, very cozy, and was really well equipped with anything you could need. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, plenty of plates, cups and utensils, and even appliances like an air fryer and a waffle-maker! The fridge is spacious- great for a family gathering. Although we did not use the outdoor area much due to rainy weather, it is also really lovely, and offers enough privacy even though there are other cabins in the vicinity. Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay, and communication with the host was easy and quick at all times. I really appreciated the clear and thorough instructions provided prior to arrival, and available at the cabin in the handbook once we arrived. Would highly recommend for small family gatherings, or a romantic couples getaway.
