Amanda was super helpful and our stay was wonderful. The cabin was beautiful and it's in a great location, walkable to the private beach and close enough to town. Check in and check out was easy! We would definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends!

We had a great stay and the location is perfect. The children loved the private beach and the sunsets were beautiful. Definitely recommend to stay to stay here and we will hopefully be back to make more memories with the family.

Sunset Dune Cabin was the perfect getaway for our family. We spent our time there relaxing & walking on the beach, splashing in the waves, enjoying s’mores around the campfire at night, and quiet mornings on the front porch. The mostly private beach was amazing, especially after seeing how crowded the beach in town was. The hike up and over the dune to get to the beach was a fun little challenge and totally worth it. We loved being able to go back and forth between the beach and the cabin during the day. The cabin was well stocked, which made cooking & eating there easy. It felt spacious for our family of four and so cozy at the same time. This was our second time staying with South Haven BNB. The first time we were in the Blue Shore Cottage. We loved both and will be back again!

We have had the opportunity to stay here a few times. It's the perfect set up for multiple families or a big family like mine with older kids and a married children. It was perfect for my married daughter to have the guest house and even had a friend come for a couple days with her new baby and they can all stay in the Guest house. The main house is very spacious, the living room is huge with 3 super comfortable sofa's and 2 comfy chairs that spin. The bedrooms in the guest house are much bigger than main house. The w bedrooms in the main house with the bunk beds are Great for sleeping but hard to keep luggage in. It's pretty tight. Great for kids or small people. The bathroom with the shower is spacious and has nice shelving for everyone to keep there bathroom supplies on. Even though we brought our own beach towels, it was nice that they supplied some extra's while one was in the wash. It's very sandy, so I was constantly doing towels. This house has the path to the beach right behind the main house and it couldn't be more perfect for those who walk to the beach. Please don't try to walk up the dune at the end of the block. I was finding people that didn't know about the walk path trying to walk up the steep dune path with wagons and kids. They were so happy I told them. The kitchen table in the main house is PERFECT. You can fit like 15 people. My family enjoys staying here and will be back again.

Our favorite place to stay! This was our third year back and it just keeps getting better. They were wonderful hosts and the access to the beach is perfect. The outdoor shower is great for getting all the sand off, and cleaning off little ones post-beach. The house is cozy and full of everything you could need for the beach and for kids.

Overall the place was absolutely amazing. It had everything we could have wanted - kitchen stuff, beach accessories, kids games and lots more. The main house is perfect for a group vacation, well lit, spacious, and homey. The walk to the beach can be a little challenging (the forest path was easier but still a little more than we expected. Probably 5 minutes including the dune). The beach is amazing- quiet, beautiful, perfect water. Little rocky in the beginning so maybe bring sandals. The outside area is so well equipped with a fire pit area, gas grill and coal grill and lots of sitting options for a perfect night next to the fire. The linens were fresh and clean as well as the towels. the only downside was the water in the house - there is hard water and it has a different smell and feel. However, that was literally the only downside, and we just bought bottled water for drinking (even though I don’t think it was necessary). Would definitely recommend and visit again -for longer!

This place was exactly as advertised! A very cozy getaway minutes from south haven. As advertised, the dune walk to the lake was tough but my 4 year old managed it so it’s not so bad- but need to watch out for others on atvs. The private beach was great, we hardly saw anyone else. If you have kids this was a great place- so many toys, hangout spots, games, etc. they really went out of their way to make sure you are never bored! Even my MIL who is not easily impressed was talking the place up after! 🤣

What a great weekend! Amanda & Drew were helpful and friendly as soon as I drove up. The place was clean with plenty of beautiful scenery. Walking distance to Lake Michigan and the dunes. A must stay & visit. 5 Star Place!

Amanda had great response time on communication I was very impressed at how fast she would respond to any question or comment I had about the place. This place fit all our needs for the week so that was good! Clean and pleasant place to stay.

We'd go back! Amanda was thoughtful, considerate, and easy to communicate with. The location was really unique, just like listed, and Amanda had everything we needed for a family with kids! We felt right at home. Thank you Amanda.
